Harvest Home

Good morning Crafters.

These last few weeks have flown by.  I think its because my daughter now has every Wednesday off school here in France which makes the week super short.  Especially after we have filled the day with shopping, swimming and having treats.

As Friday has come around fast again its challenge time with the Daring Cardmakers.

This weeks theme is hosted by the lovely Shabneez who has picked:

Harvest Home

Shabneez would like to see fruit,  vegetables, wheat etc... on your creations as its autumn and now the crops are getting harvested.

I had to have a good think for this one.  I only own a lemon die and lemons remind me of summer so that was no good.

So I came up with this:

I made a pumpkin using some small die cut ovals.

I thought it turned out really well.  I just added a little bit of ink to the edges of each oval.

For the background I used an embossing folder from Stampin Up called Pinewood Planks.  I added a little bit of ink to bring out the wood effects more. It also gives it a bit of a rustic feel.

I then used the Wood Words Stamp and Die set to create the little tag and also the flower background.

To finish I added some lovely green gingham ribbon.

Please stop by the Design Team Blogs over at Daring Cardmakers for more lovely inspiration.

Have a lovely weekend.

xXx
