I am seeing stars, oh dear!!!

Another post for me today.  Thought I would get caught up whilst my little girl is at school and get some crafting done.  I love it when she sits and watches me.  I can't wait for her to be a little older and sit with Mummy and make some cards.  Just at the moment she will only sit for a couple of minutes then off she goes and does something else.

For this card I have used yet more stars and apples from Pink Petticoat.  I really love Pink Petticoat for all its digital images and design papers.

I have coloured the image using promarkers and added some handmade paper flowers.  The large flower has been made using red vellum.  The sentiment is one created from my PC.

Still using up my scraps

We have finally got some new ink and a new printer to try but I thought I would still try and use up my scraps, so the stars are out again.

The stars and apple paper are from Pink Petticoat but I am not sure about the spotty paper.  The sweet jars are a free download from Papercrafts Inspiration.

I have then filled the jars with gems, beads and glitter and added a little tag.

Cookie Monster

I have something different to share with you.  I did some baking whilst my daughter was in school yesterday and here is what I made.

My Mother In Law had a little trip to England and came back with a lovely magazine called Cupcake Heaven.  Its full up with all kinds of cake recipes and easy to follow instructions on how to decorate them, I love it.

This is my first attempt at making cookie monster cakes.  I couldn't get the food colouring to work very well so monsters look a bit on the green side but on the plus side my 3 year old daughter loves them.

My Time Made Easy - Pretty Palette 71

Its time for another challenge of colour fun over at My Time Made Easy.

Here is the gorgeous Pretty Palette:

And here is my card:

I have used Spot of Tea digital stamp set from My Time Made Easy and I have coloured my image using promarkers and added some tiny pearls.  The papers are also from My Time Made Easy called Grammy's Pretty Patterns.  I have also added some textured paper I had in my stash plus some ribbon and I made the little red organza flower and added a gem to the centre, which came from a broken bracelet of my daughters. I think my green is slightly the wrong colour but I couldn't decide if wasabi was a minty green or a olive type green.

The layout for the card is taken from an old sketch at Mojo Monday.

Reading Together

I am having a little trouble at the moment with my printer so it seems like I have set myself a new challenge to use up all my bits.  So please forgive my next card as the star paper is getting used alot lately as I can't print anything new out.

I have used a digi stamp from sliekje digi stamps which is a brilliant blog full of cute images. The star and script paper are from pink petticoat and the tan coloured background paper was one I found hidden away in my stash, so not sure where it came from. The image is coloured using promarkers and I have added some glossy accents to the cats glasses.

I have also added some gold gems and ribbon with a little piece of twine attached.  The paper roses are made using my trusty rose creation die from Spellbinders.  I sat for hours the other day just making loads in different colours so I have got them ready at hand for any new projects.

This card is for the following challenges:

Christmas Cutesy Cover

I have had this template from My Time Made Easy called Cutesy Cover sat in my craft bits for ages now and I just haven't got around to putting it together.  So today I thought I must get in done and here it is.

I have used papers and digi image from Pink Petticoat. The image is coloured using promarkers and I have added some crackle accents to the little reindeer's nose. I have also used some jewelled brads to fasten the box and a bit of twine.  The template for the box is also available as a free download HERE

The gift box is the ideal size for small jewellery items and make up.

Its that tree again

Hello everyone, hope we all had a lovely weekend.  Can't believe the first week of a new school term is already over!!

Just a anniversary card to share with my favourite little tree image from Pink Petticoat.  I made this for friends of ours.  This time I got my distress inks out and coloured in the edges.

The papers are also Pink Petticoat which are called perfect papers.  I have also added some glitter to the image and coloured it using promarkers. The sentiments are stamped in black and I have added some pearls.  I made the card to match our friends wedding theme which was pink.

I remember the day so well and I think our friends do to and also the hotel which they were staying in.  My husband and I managed to get hold of some massive bags of confetti and we covered their room in it, oops!!!  It was everywhere but they made sure they got their own back at our wedding!

This card is for the following challenges:

Thank you!!!

I made this little card for my friend who very kindly looked after my daughter whilst I was at my first Troc et Puces which is a car boot sale here in France.  We had a lot of my daughters old baby clothes and toys to sell.  It was a good day, we got to see lots of my daughters friends and family from school and the weather was good which was a bonus.

The image is from sliekje digi stamps which I have coloured with promarkers and the sentiment is from Pink Petticoat.  The blue backing paper is also from Pink Petticoat and the yellow paper is from a Do Crafts CD.  I have added some little gem brads to the centres of my flowers as I love a bit of sparkle.

My Time Made Easy - Pretty Palette

I have been super excited for what feels like ages now and I have been itching to write this post.  So without further ado I would like to show you my first Design Team Project for My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette.

This fortnights challenge is to use the gorgeous colour palette above.  So as my daughter went back school this week I thought I would make a card for her.  When I gave it to her she loved it, it was placed with pride on her little pink desk.

I have used digital stamp set called Back to school which can be found HERE and I have then coloured the image using promarkers.  The lime coloured paper is from a set called Alphabet Soup which can be found HERE.  The star paper and text book paper are both from Pink Petticoat.

I have then added some paper flowers and gems to finish.

Please come and play along at My Time Made Easy.

Back to School Today!!!

Well my little girl has gone back to school this morning.  Why is it you wish for the school holidays to be over but when they are you want your children at home?  The house is so quiet!!

While Charlotte is at school I thought I would catach up with my blog as I haven't really posted much lately or entered any challenges.

So here is my first card of the new term:

I made this for my nephew who shares the same birthday as me.  The digi stamp is from Sliekje Digital Stamps.  I have then coloured the image using promarkers and the backing papers are from Pink Petticoat.

This card is for the challenge at A Gem of a Challenge called 'A Boy Thing'
