Fabulous Gift Tags

 Hello everyone.

I have become such a fan of making gift tags that I had to share this project with you.  My friend is a Body shop at home consultant and I wanted to make her something that she could add to her products to give that little personal touch.  

I used the Hippo and Friends dies for the tag base.  I then stamped and heat embossed the sentiment from the Dressed To Impress stamp.  I also added these cute lipsticks using the stamp from the same set and I added a little colour using stampin blends and some shimmer with a touch of wink of stella.

Daring Cardmakers - You're Mermazing

 Hello everyone and welcome to the weekly challenge from the team at the Daring Cardmakers.

This weeks host is the lovely Jenny and did you know May is a month to celebrate mermaids with artists and crafters sharing their projects using the hashtag #mermay.  So please share your mermaid inspired cards. 

I was inspired by the colours of a mermaid which seem to be blues, purples and greens.  I also thought if I was a mermaid what fishy friends would I have?  So this is the card I created.

I have used the Whale Done stamp and punch from Stampin Up along with the Friends Are Like Seashells Bundle and the seaweed die from Smooth Sailing.  These sets are a lovely combination for your seaside and under the sea themed projects.

The ink colours I have used are just so pretty and are seaside spray, highland heather, mint macaron and blushing bride.

Strawberry Milk Carton

 Hello everyone.

Well summer is just around the corner (I hope) and the strawberries are starting to appear in our garden so I was inspired to make this little milk carton for a tiny pot of jam.

I found these pots in a local supermarket and thought they would make lovely thank you gifts.

I had the perfect stamp and punch set to use which was the Sweet Strawberry Bundle. So I decided to make a little milk carton box and the pot fitted perfectly.  

I also just had to team it with some of our gorgeous gingham ribbon

I think I might have to make a few more of these as they would be great to give to the teachers of my children's schools at the end of term as a thank you.

Beside The Sea with Friends are like Seashells

 Hello everyone.  

Today is a bank holiday here in France and I am so glad of a lie in as I get up really early to go to work.

So extra day off work means an extra day to craft as I need to catch up on a few projects.

For todays project I have made this lovely beach scene as I am sure after the year we have had everyone is looking forward to a holiday.  I just hope the weather improves as its just rained none stop here in France.

I have used the Friends are like seashells and some of the designer series paper.  I ripped the paper to kind of look like sand and tucked some of the die cut elements inside.  I also used the new blending brushes to ink up the background and the sea weed.  The ink blending with the brushes is so easy and just looks perfect, I love them.
