Up and Away

Just time for another post and feeling very inspired as we are having some gorgeous weather.  I even managed a little trip out on my bicycle today.  Its been a few months and I thought I would make the most of the weather.

I have  made a little card inspired by the challenge at City Crafter Challenge Blog.  Which is to make a card using a hot air balloon or just a balloon.

The digital image is from Fresh Brewed Designs and the papers are from Pink Petticoat.  I wanted to make a male card as I never have any or find very little inspiration for mens cards.

Party Time!!!

I can't believe how quickly my daughter's birthday has come around.  I have made a start on her party favours and as she wanted Doc Mcstuffins I have made some little bags with plasters on.

The template is from My Time Made Easy called Grab Bag.

The little plaster embellishment is a free printable from Disney Family.

I have just added a little glitter to the hearts

I have also made her a little banner with some free printables from Peonies and Poppy Seeds.

Also I wanted to make some favours for the boys that will be coming to her party and I don't think they would approve of little handbags so I just made some clear treat bags.

Spring Time!!!

I have made this very sweet and simple card and I thought this would cover Easter/Spring.  I am not very good at clean and simple but wanted to try.  I do love the colours from the inspiration photo at Cupcake Inspirations.

and here is my card:

The backing paper is from My Time Made Easy called Spring Has Sprung and the digital image is from Pink Petticoat which has now been discontinued but there are loads of other lovely images to download.

I have then added some crinkled seam binding and some paper roses.

Just Pretty

My little girl is starting to get excited for her birthday and she has asked for a Guinea Pig.  So we have started to make arrangements for our new pet. But I bet mummy and daddy end up looking after it!!! I have found some great information on the RSPCA website which I am sure we will refer back to a lot.  My husband and I as children never had guinea pigs we have always had dogs and cats, although my husband did have a ferret once.  So I think I am excited too.

So in between tidying up the garden and looking at birthday and guinea pig supplies I have made a little card.

The sentiment is from My Time Made Easy from the Chase Your Dreams digital stamp set.
The ribbon and lace are both from  The Ribbon Reel.

I have made a little organza and paper flower and the centre has a little polka dot brad.

and look at the gorgeous inspiration from The Shabby Tea Room. This weeks challenge is to create a card/project using white/cream, pink, green, flower, lace/ribbon.
