Happy Halloween

We are having a Halloween party at home this evening so I thought I would share with you my idea for little party favours for the children.

I have made lolly pop holders as I wanted something quick and simple.  I have used Hauntingly Homemade papers and and Hauntingly Homemade labels which are from My Time Made Easy.

All I did was make a little tent shape, which I hope you can see from the photograph and glued the top together to hold the lolly in place.

I also did a bit of baking and made some chocolate chip cupcakes.  I found this free cupcake topper headstone while browsing the Internet you can find them HERE at Elle's Studio.

More cakes, this time mummy cupcakes.

Have a safe and Happy Halloween.

Fresh Brewed Designs - Ballerina Christmas

After such a fun blog hop thought I would post a card using a digi stamp from Fresh Brewed Designs.

I made this card at a request of a friend for her niece and I wanted something a bit girlie.  The papers are from Pink Petticoat called fairy lights, which I just love as its feature alot in my Christmas cards for this year.  I have coloured the image using promarker and added some glitter and glossy accents to the tree.  You can't have Christmas without sparkle!!!

The little pink star I bought from a local shop which sells everything for parties, weddings etc....   I also cut some of the snowflakes from one of the papers to add extra embellishments to my card.

My Time Made Easy - Pretty Palette

With Halloween just around the corner I thought I would make this card with that in mind.  After all my daughter is totally obsessed with all things spooky at the moment.  So I thought this card would be perfect for her, along with a little treat bag.  Unfortunately the treats didn't last long!!!!

So to the My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette challenge, here is the colour palette:

and here is my card:

I have used papers called hauntingly Homemade and the digital stamp set I have used is called Hauntingly Homemade Labels.  Both items are from My Time Made Easy.  I have used a design program called GIMP to change the colour of the papers to match the challenge.  I have then added some black glitter to the writing with a quickie glue pen.  I also inked up the edges of the papers and added some corrugated kraft card to add some texture.

Pretty Palette Details:

Rustic Christmas

WOW, there is some stunning inspiration photos to be found on the Internet.  Check out these two challenges, The Ribbon Reel and The Shabby Tea Room.

Just look at the gorgeous inspiration photos, I fell in love straight away.

The Ribbon Reel

The Shabby Tea Room

I thought I would combine the two as they both have rustic, elegant and neutral elements in them.
So here is my card, I went for Christmas again!!!

The Christmas tree has been stamped and embossed in white onto kraft paper along with the greeting which I made into a little flag.  The stamp set is from Annabelle Stamps called Gifted Swirls which is the elegant part of my card.  The rustic would have to be the corrugated card and my twine which I have added some beads.  I have also included one of my favourite things to make, an organza flower.

I also tried to stage my photo so please don't laugh by adding a candle and the beautiful Christmas ornament.  Which I have to confess I have had it hanging up all year as its so pretty.

Crafty Play Date

Just wanted share my cards that I made at my friends house the other day.  We got together for another Crafty Play Date and it was a lovely way to catch up and relax.  I had a full day of card making.  Normally when I go to my friends house I end up talking all day and I get nothing done.  This time I managed to make a few more Christmas cards.

My friend very kindly gave me the wooden stars which I think look really sweet and I also used one of her dies, which was Spellbinders curved rectangles.  I have tried to keep my cards really simple and most importantly very light as they will be getting posted to England.  The papers and digis are from Pink Petticoat.  I downloaded the little rudolphs last year and knew I was going to use them this year for my cards.  I just think they are very cute.  I have already seen the new papers for this Christmas at Pink Petticoat.  I wonder what new digi's will be available as well.

Photo Inspiration

I was just having a look through some challenges and I came across this gorgeous picture over at The Ribbon Reel.

and straight away I thought of Christmas, which I thought was a bit strange seen as there is nothing to do with Christmas in the photo. I think it is because I am in Christmas mode at the moment and I have made a start on my cards for this year.  The challenge is to create a card/project inspired by the photo and include a damask pattern and ribbon/lace and also use a neutral colour palette.
Here is my card:

I have used papers from Pink Petticoat called perfect papers and the Christmas tree is from a stamp set from Annabelle Stamps.  I then made some of my organza flowers to match the dress in the picture and used some gem brads for the centre's.  I have added a couple of rows of lace to the bottom of the tree and added some twine to finish.

The layout for the card is taken from the challenge at  The Sweet Stop.

Christmas Angel

Hello everyone.  I can't believe its Friday already where has the week gone.  Its going to fast for me and Christmas will be here before we know it.  So I have got on with yet another Christmas card.  This time my friend wanted a Baby's 1st Christmas card as her baby is due just before.  I haven't put the sentiment on yet just in case she arrives after.

The digi stamp is from Pink Gem Designs and the backing papers are a set downloaded from Pink Petticoat called Fairy Lights.

The image is coloured using promarkers and I have added some glitter to her wings.  I just love my sparkle so I have also added some little gems to the centres of the snowflakes which again came from the same set from Pink Petticoat.

This card is for the following challenges:

Christmas is coming

Well I have gone and done it.  I have made a start on this years Christmas cards.  My friend rang and asked me to make some cards for her.

So here is the first one.

Of course I used more lovely Pink Petticoat papers and images.  The papers are from a set called Fairy Lights and hurry its half price at the moment.  The digi image is called Mini Rudolps and isn't he just so cute? I have coloured him using promarkers.  The sentiment is one printed out from my PC and  I have made the flag pole using a cocktail stick and some beads.

The sketch is from the challenge over at Mojo Monday.

and the card is also for the challenge at The Pink Elephant and this weeks challenge is banners.
