Merry Christmas Makes #7

                                                                    Hello everyone.

MERRY CHRISTMAS MAKES

We all need tags at Christmas time when we wrap all our gifts so I also make sure I have lots to hand.  The Tailor Made Tag dies make this so much easier.

I have combined lots of beautiful festive products to create this tag and I just love it.

I decided to use two different sized tags so that I could use the smaller one for the sentiment.

I just love the stitched detail on these tags as it just finishes them off some how.  I will be using these a lot.  These are also great for card toppers and other occasions when you need a gift tag.

Daring Cardmakers - Show Us Your Stockings

 Hello everyone.

Its Friday and challenge time from the team at the Daring Cardmakers.  We are continuing with our festive inspiration and this week its all about stockings.   The tradition here in France is to leave out your shoe and Père Noël will fill it with sweets. I always remember my stocking as a child getting filled with chocolate bars, apple, orange and a money envelope.

So here is my card for the challenge.

I have used the designer series paper called Sweet Stockings.

I fussy cut the stocking from one of the sheets of designer series paper and used other sheets in the pack for the base of the card.

I have then added a cute tag using the tailor made tag dies.

I also had to finish my card off with a jingle bell from my stash and I just love the pretty black and white gingham ribbon that I have used to thread through the tag.

Thanks for stopping by today and please head over to the Daring Cardmakers Blog for more lovely inspiration from the Design Team.

Have a lovely weekend.

Merry Christmas Makes #6

 Hello everyone.

MERRY CHRISTMAS MAKES

As a crafter I love this time of year as I just love to create projects for Christmas.  I especially love to make shaker cards as I can use lots glitter and sparkle.

The shaker jar domes used in this project make shaker cards so easy to make and a lot faster.

For this project I have created a little candy jar and I have cut some of the these peppermint swirls from a sheet of designer series paper called gingerbread and peppermint.

I also added a few snowflakes from a stamp set that is in the main catalogue called Snowflake wishes.

This is what I love about Stampin Up that you can make a few stamp sets work together to create a card.

Thanks for stopping by today and you can find all the products I have used for this project at the bottom of the page, with links to the Stampin Up website.

Merry Christmas Makes #5

 Hello all.

We are quickly passing through November and before we know it December will be here.  So for todays project I thought I would share with you a quick Christmas decoration you can make with the children for your tree.

MERRY CHRISTMAS MAKES

You can make these in a single layer or double like I have.

You will need a piece of designer series paper that measures 12" x 1 1/2" and another piece slightly smaller that measures 12" x 1".
You then need to score at every 1/4" on the long side.  Add glue to the ends and join them up.
Cut out a circle and push the medallion down in the centre and glue this to the circle.

I just had to use the candy stripe paper from the whimsy and wonder suite as it has the most foiling and will look so pretty in the Christmas tree.

Thanks for stopping by today and please stop by next Monday for another festive treat.
