Daring Cardmakers - Seashells on the Seashore

Hello everyone and welcome to the weekly challenge from the team at the Daring Cardmakers.

Rizwana is our lovely host this week and would like to see seashells on your projects.  You could use stamped images, dies or even some real seashells.

I seem to have a lot of beach/sea themed stamps and dies so I used the friends are like seashells set from Stampin Up which is now retired.  I created a wreath of seaweed and shells to frame the piece of designer series paper from the retired by the bay.

I then added a ships wheel which is from the retired sailing home set.  But guess what the sentiment and the die I have used is not retired, its from the waves of inspiration set.

I have then added some faux sea glass and a little bling.

Daring Cardmakers - Sunshine

Hello everyone and welcome to the weekly challenge from the team at the Daring Cardmakers.

Miri is our lovely host this week and would like to see the sun or the suns rays on your projects.

This could be as the focal point, in the background or as part of a scene.

I have used this amazing background stamp from Stampin Up called Ray of Light.  I wanted to create a pretty scene with clouds and rainbows so I used the cloud border die from Lawn Fawn along with the a rainbow die which was also from Stampin Up.

I added a little bling and a sentiment to finish the card.  The sentiment fit perfectly where the sun was and I thought the phrase was so appropriate for this project.  A cute card to send just because.

Daring Cardmakers - Crowning Glory

Hello everyone and welcome to the weekly challenge from the team at the Daring Cardmakers.

Kathy is our lovely host this week and would like to see the crowning glory on your projects this week.  This could be that extra panache that makes something look really special.  As the UK has also celebrated the coronation of King Charles, you could perhaps add a crown to your cards.

I have made this cute unicorn card and I have made a crown of daisies with a little extra bling.

I really love this die.  Its from First Edition and its called Build A Unicorn.  You get all the separate elements to create the unicorns face but I didn't use the flower dies included.  I used a daisy punch from Fiskars to create the flowers.  I love to sit and make a whole bunch of paper flowers whilst watching the TV on an evening, then I have them to use on future projects.

I finished the card with a small stamped greeting to the bottom.  I also added a little bit of bling to make the flower crown a bit more sparkly.

Daring Cardmakers - May Elemental Inspiration

Hello everyone and welcome to the weekly challenge from the team at the Daring Cardmakers.

Shabneez is our lovely host this week and has picked this fresh and fruity image for the May elemental inspiration challenge.

Remember to pick 3 elements from the image below.

I picked 3 different types of fruit, a blue background, a straw, citrus fruit slice and a rectangle.

I thought it would be fun to create a card featuring a smoothie in a jar or perhaps its a cocktail.
I used a few different stamps dies and punches.  The strawberry, lemons and jar are all from Stampin Up and the pineapple is a Spellbinders die.

I also added a little bling to my fun and fruity summer inspired card.

Stampin Up Journey

 Hello everyone.

I would like to let everyone know that I am no longer a Stampin Up demo.  In the end I could not meet my quarterly targets and I became my best customer.  With everything happening in the world I just found it so hard to find new customers or get my current customers to splurge on new craft products.  We all have to tighten our purse strings at the moments and sadly our hobbies go first.

I will still be crafting as I have now a healthy stash of craft goodies and I will treat myself from time to time with something new.  There are a couple of stamps and dies that I would love to buy that are in the new Stampin Up catalogue but I will have to wait a while for those.

On my Facebook page of the same name as my blog I am trying to catalogue all my designs into their stamp and die/punch bundles as I thought it would be nice to see what I have created over these nearly 5 years as a demo.

I just want to thank everyone that has supported my little Stampin Up business.

I will share below one of my favourite of all time sets from Stampin Up which was the Jar Of Love.
