Happy Valentines Day

Sorry Its a bit late but we have been without electric since Friday!! Thankfully we are now back online.  I made a card last week which I had in mind for a few challenges but with no internet I was unable to post it.

So here it is:

After a recent win at The Ribbon Reel I received a voucher to use at Paper Sweeties so I decided to have a play with my new stamps.  It was a very hard decision on what to buy as the shop has loads of gorgeous stamp sets.

I have used Sending Sweet Thoughts stamp set.  I have then paper pieced the cupcake.

The layout for the card was taken from the challenge at Mojo Monday which I missed!!

Paper Sweeties!!

What a day.  First of all Happy Valentines Day all I did have a post with a valentines card but I cant access the photos so will have to wait for my husband to come home from work to help me.

It also very windy here today so thought I better getter a post done in case we loose power again which did happen two days ago and we have had no internet or phone for a few days.

I have been having a play with my new Paper Sweeties Stamp sets.  Such a gorgeous website full of lovely inspiration. 

 

This card is made using the stamp set called Make Today Beautiful.

 

I have paper pieced the flower and coloured the pot and stem in with promarkers.

 

 

Here is another card using the same stamp set but had ago at masking to fit all the lovely flowers in the pot.

 

 

and added a bit of lace and a few buttons.

 

 

and finally of course my favourite thing CUPCAKES!!  This stamp set is called Sending Sweet Thoughts.

 

 

 Again I have paper pieced the cupcakes and added some glitter and a little sentiment flag.

 

Such great little stamp sets with so many possibilities.  When they arrived in the post they came in bright pink envelopes with Happy Mail written on the side.  Such a lovely touch and the delivery was super fast all the way from the USA!!
