Shop Front Card

I shared this card to Facebook first so I thought I should share a few more details about it today.

If you have time, please stop by my Facebook Page and give it a like.

As the Best Dressed Suite contains lots of lovely shoes, perfume and makeup I thought making a shop window card is a fabulous idea.

I cut an aperture in a piece of white card stock first and made the shelves using the strap from the All Dressed Up dies.

I also added an embossed wood grain effect background using the Pinewood Planks embossing folder.

I then used some of the designer series paper and cut out the handbag and perfumes to add to the shelves.

I then used the Dressed To Impress stamp set to make the shoes which I paper pieced.

I made the canopy for the window using some designer series paper from the same suite and finished with some stamped flowers.  These are also contained in the stamp set.

A super fun card for anyone that loves shopping.

Thanks for stopping by today and have a lovely day.

If you wish to place an order just add me (Dawn Barwick) as your demonstrator.

  1. I'm really sorry to ask this? Is it possible that you could possibly write these directions out for me, and anyone else, who doesn't hear, therefore can't read or hear, on Facebook? There's NO Closed-Captioning, without it, I can't make your card. I bought enough of this DSP to last me a couple years. I'd love to add your card, to list of cards I want to share. Thank you, for even thinking about this!

  2. Now that I look at your card again, I just need help, with the awning?
