Autumn Leaves

 Morning Crafters and Bloggers.

Autumn has certainly arrived here.  We were woken rather early at the weekend by the sound of tractors cutting the corn in the field opposite our house.  It always seems to signal the start of a new season.

I was also feeling inspired by the lovely tree out side my front door when I made this card.

I started by die cutting lots of leaves using the Die D-Lites All Leaves die from Spellbinders.

It comes in a set of four really lovely leaves.

I decided with this card to create a wreath.
I inked each leaf using lots of autumn colours.

I then glued all the leaves down into a wreath shape and added a little printed greeting to the centre.

I also wanted to create a little texture to my card so I used the embossing folder by Tammy Tutterow at Spellbinders called Blistered and I just added a little ink to bring out the detail.

I then finished the card with a little butterfly using the Die D-Lites Flying Bugs set from Spellbinders.

I am not sure that there are many butterflies around this time of year but its such a pretty die.

Thanks for stopping by today and please check out the website for full details about the dies I have used.
