3 Levels Of Crafter

Hello everyone.

I have some cards to share today which are aimed at 3 levels of crafter.

I really do love the Perennial Birthday stamp set as it has some pretty flowers and also some fabulous sentiments in lovely font styles.

I created these two cards  for a beginner just using the stamps and 4 colours of ink.  I used Lovely Lipstick, Calypso Carol, Pear Pizzazz and Smoky Slate.

I am really loving this colour combination at the moment.

For the next card I stepped it up a little by just adding a die cut using the Stitched Shapes Framelits and I also added a layer of Lovely Lipstick cardstock to give the little border.

I thought this next card might be for a more passionate crater as I have included a bit of fussy cutting, some ribbon, gems and a die cut.

I wanted to share how versatile a stamp set can be and how it can be used for all crafters of all levels.

Daring Cardmakers - Balloons

Happy Friday everyone.

I hope you have something lovely planned this weekend.

My daughter is having a birthday party so I am busy baking at the moment so just thought I would stop by with this weeks challenge from Daring Cardmakers.

Miri is our host this week and would like to see some balloons on your cards.

I knew I had the perfect stamp and die set for this called Broadway Birthday.

I used three balloons on my card.

I love this set as it great for cards of all ages.

I found the Stamparatus was great for lining up the spots over the word hooray which meant I could add some gold embossing powder to it.

I have created a clean and simple card for this weeks challenge which is a fabulous one to put away in my masculine card section.

Thanks for stopping today and please check out more lovely inspiration from the Design Team over on the Daring Cardmakers Blog.

Have a lovely weekend.

Farewell Jar of Love

I am really going to miss the Jar Of Love stamps and dies.  They have got to be one of my favourite sets to create with.

You will have still have time to get yours and see why I love it so much.

For todays project I have made some little shaker jar tags but this time I have used the little fish that comes in the set.

I have created a little underwater scene and used some of the foliage that comes in the set.

I always create my shaker element in the same way by gluing several frames together to get the depth rather than using foam tape or squares.  I feel this way you can be safe knowing that your sequins will not fall out.

The larger of the jars in the die set has a little piece that you can cut away to make this easier.

I also created a little flap for the back so you can either use it as a tag on your cards or send it as a mini greeting card.

Happy Easter

Its a bit late but I wanted to stop by and wish you all a Happy Easter.

I am sharing a little Easter project that I did with my children over the school holidays.

We made these super easy baskets and I filled them with chocolate eggs.

The basket was just a square 6" piece of cardstock scored at 2" and 4" on two the sides.

Then cut up the score lines on the opposite sides and fold the flaps over to make the basket.

We used the gorgeous Tin Tile embossing folding to add some detail to the basket and we used Wood Words for the stamping.

The best part was they all enjoyed the chocolate.

Here is what the children made.
