Daring Cardmakers Catch Up - Splish, Splash, Splosh

Hello everyone.

Here is my 2nd Daring Cardmakers catch up post.

This challenge was called Splish, Splash, Splosh.

This time the team wanted to see your cards created with watercolours, inks or paints to create a focal point, background or accents for your project.

I decided to play with brushos to create a fun background.

I love playing with these lovely powders which react with water and you never know what your background will look like.

I sprinkled some of the powders over a piece of watercolour card.  I then sprayed some water over the powder and watched the magic happen.  I wanted the background to look like an under water scene.  I tried to keep the blues and purples at the top and the greens along the bottom.

I then added some seaweed and a anchor using the Sailing Home Bundle from Stampin' Up!  I also stamped the little fish using a retired stamp set.

I then finished my card with lots of sequins to look like bubbles.

Please check out the challenges over at Daring Cardmakers.
We would love to have you join in.
