Daring Cardmakers - Inky Backgrounds

Hello and how are you all.

We have had some glorious sunshine this week and all I could think about was getting clothes washed and dried.  I then managed a little weeding in the garden which is something I hate doing.

Also lets not forget.

I have a lovely new challenge to share from the team over at Daring Cardmakers.

This week our lovely host is Rizwana who would like to see some sort of inky background on your cards.

I used brushos on my card today and created this crazy background. I thought it looked a bit like a galaxy so I decided to use some stars as well.

I used a piece of water colour paper and just added several colours to the cardstock and sprayed with water.  What I love about using these is you never really know what it will turn out like.

I then waited for the brushos to dry and also gave it a blast with my heat gun to make sure it was completely dry before I added the stamping and heat embossing.

I used a stamp set called Making Christmas Bright to create the background.  The die cut word is from a die set called Broadway Birthday and I also used the matching stamp set called Broadway Birthday.

I die cut the word WISH and added some more heat embossing to it but this time I added a few layers.  As you can see I touched it before it was dry, oops.

I then added some black card stock banners with more heating embossed greetings.

Thanks for stopping by today and please head over to the Daring Cardmakers Blog for more lovely inspiration from the Design Team.
