Blender Pen Colouring

Hello everyone.

I absolutely love the Seabed embossing folder.  This is definitely a must have for your seaside themed projects.  The detail on the folder is just amazing.

For todays card I have used the embossing folder with some whisper white card stock and coloured in the raised areas.

I used the blender pens to do this, which gave a lovely water colour look.  All you do is press an acrylic block very lightly into your ink pad.  This will act as your painters palette.  You add a little colour to the tip of your blender pen and begin colouring.  To remove the colour from the pen just rub the end on some card stock until it becomes clear.

I also added a stamped and punched whale.  The jelly fish and turtle were stamped and fussy cut.

The hippo and friends dies also make great mats and layers for your toppers and sentiments, which is what I have used for the sentiment in the centre of the card.  The set comes with lots of different shapes and all with a lovely stitched edge.

I just had to add a little bling to the card using the coordinating sequins from the whale of a time suite.

Thanks for stopping by today and you can find all the products I have used for this project at the bottom of the page, with links to the Stampin Up website.
