Daring Cardmakers - Halloween Inspired

 Hello all.

Its my turn to host the challenge at the Daring Cardmakers but I have been without the internet and telephone line for a week and I wasn't able to organise my post.  So I am sorry if this is a little late.

My challenge was to create a Halloween inspired card.  You can make it spooky if you wish or perhaps use Halloween colours of black and orange.  Or maybe feature a starry sky, owls or pumpkins.

I went with a bit of a Halloween theme but nothing spooky.  I created this pretty wreath by using the Sparkle Of The Season Bundle.  This lovely set features some gorgeous wreath dies and these little pumpkins which I thought were great to decorate the wreath,

Thanks for stopping by today and please head over to the Daring Cardmakers Blog for more lovely inspiration from the Design Team.

Have a lovely weekend and a great Halloween.

Autumn Inspiration

 Hello everyone

Well Autumn certainly has arrived now.  Not so much the cooler temperatures but the leaves are beginning to turn and the nights are darker a lot earlier.

I really love this time of year with the beautiful colours of autumn and that means the sparkle of Christmas is just around the corner.

For todays project I have used the gorgeous Blackberry Beauty designer series paper.  This paper pack is amazing, its full of beautiful autumnal designs and colours.  This pack is also a specialty designer series paper which means its got some stunning gold foiling.

I decided I wanted to used as much of  the paper as possible so I covered the front of the card.  I have just added a greeting and used some pretty stamping and die cutting from the sparkle of the season bundle.

The sparkle of the season is a great bundle to add to your stash as it covers Halloween, Christmas and Autumn.

Milka Chocolate (Christmas) Monday

 Hello everyone.

I thought now I would share a Christmas project with you featuring the chocolatey treats.

These little boxes are fun to make and close up with a little tuck and fold.

I have used some of the gingerbread and peppermint designer series paper to decorate this box and added some die cut trees from the whimsical trees bundle.

I have used old olive for the box base.

The card stock measures 7 3/4" x 4"

Score on the long side at 1 1/4", 1 7/8", 4 1/2",and 5 1/8"
Score on the short side at 5/8", 1 1/4", 2 7/8" and 3 1/2"

Next you need to cut away some pieces so your cardstock looks like the picture below.

Then on all four of the squares you need to make a diagonal score line

Look at the gorgeous ribbon I have used.  Its organza ribbon with the most beautiful iridescent glitter added to it which is perfect for your festive projects.

Don't forget to pop back next Monday and I will have one more little chocolate treat to share.

If you recreate any of the projects that I have made I would love to see.  Just head over to my Facebook page (the link is down the side) and share a photo.
