Build A Unicorn

Good morning everyone.

I am just off to my friends for a cuppa and a catch up and to find out how her first craft fair went but before I leave I have just enough time to share with you my latest project.

I love this and I made it for my daughter.

I used the new unicorn die from First Edition and Trimcraft and I managed to get the die set from Amazon France.

The set comes with the unicorn horn, ears, eyes, two different sizes flowers and some leaves.

I created my picture using a box frame I bought from Hobbycraft.

I cut a square of white card stock to fit inside the frame then I got die cutting.

To make each flower I cut three out of the same coloured cardstock, inked up the edges and centres and sprayed them with a little water.  I then scrunched them up and fastened them together using a brad and arranged them.  I then set them aside to dry.  Once dry I glued the 3 flowers together and added some sequins to the centres using the bag of bling from the One Happy Day box available from Bubbly Funk.

I arranged all my die cut pieces on the piece of white cardstock and glued them down and placed my finished picture inside the box frame along with some of the pretty table diamonds.

I can't wait to give this to my daughter but I need to my one for my little boy.  He is only 3 and he saw me make this one and asked for a picture for his bedroom with stars on.

Thanks for stopping by today.

xXx
