Daring Cardmakers - March Elemental Inspiration

What a busy week I have had and I can't believe we are into March.

We have a new challenge for you from the team over at Daring Cardmakers.

As its the first Friday of the month its time for the elemental inspiration challenge using the image below.

Remember to pick 3 elements from the image to include on your cards.

I picked the colours, flowers, gems (I used sequins), and the layout of one of the images.

I decided to use the Peaceful Moments Bundle from Stampin Up to create the poppies in the centre of my card.  I die cut the flowers in all these fabulous colours.

The colours of the card stock I have used are called lovely lipstick, petal pink, night of navy, pretty peacock, crushed curry and black.

I also added a few gold sequins to the card and added the heat embossed greeting to some black cardstock.  I then cut around the greeting with a pair of scissor.

Thanks for stopping by today and please check out more lovely inspiration from the Design Team over on the Daring Cardmakers Blog.
Have a lovely weekend.

  3. This is lovely Dawn, the layered flowers look sort of folksy in those colours!

  4. What a great idea to "copy" one of the images. The flowers in bold colour look great! And I love the sentiment in white on black paper.
