Pets

Hello everyone.

Welcome to another fun challenge from Daring Cardmakers.

Shabneez is our lovely host this week and Shabneez would like to see your pets featuring on your creations.  This could be dogs, cats, gold fish or even spiders (yuk).

For my card I went with a pet condolence theme.

Its always very difficult to know what to say when a loved one leaves us but also our pets are our loved ones to and a big part of any family.

I went with a rainbow and a paw print for my card. I drew my inspiration from the Rainbow Bridge Poem

To make my card I started with the background and created a little sunset by blending various colours of ink.

Next I die cut the rainbow and added these little punched clouds to either side using some glitter card.

I then die cut a love heart in black and 4 little circles and made this to look like a paw.  I also included a tiny red glitter love heart.

A friend of mine recently lost her fur baby so I made her a little keepsake picture very similar to this card and I personalised it with her dogs name.

Thanks for stopping by today and please stop by the Design Team over at Daring Cardmakers to see how they were inspired.

We have a new challenge every week so please check out the Daring Cardmakers Blog on a Friday to see what the next challenge will be.

Have a lovely weekend.

  3. I only have Frenchie virtual pets for now, although our daughter gave us her cat when she left for college. Tiger, a very smart cat, lived to be seventeen. I enjoy the fur babies of friends and strangers. Once a police dog befriended me -- and he was working for a class presentation!
