My Time Made Easy Preview - Shoe Box

I am super exited to share with you a sneaky peek of  the new Shoe Box Template from My Time Made Easy for the April release.

The Shoe Box template is available in PDF, SVG, DXF, WPC.

The completed project size:
4 inches tall
5 1/2 inches wide
9 Inches Long

This template is great if you need a good size box that can fit loads of great gifts.  I know alot of people that use shoe boxes to store lovely keepsakes or even your craft supplies, I do!  So how lovely is it to be able to make this gorgeous box to match your own colour scheme at home or as a beautiful gift box for a larger item.

I have used the new papers called purse patterns in the zebra print for the lid and the digi stamp set called Shop Till You Drop for the box label.

I have then finished my box with a few gems and some gorgeous black ribbon.

Please be sure to check out what the other design team members have been doing for more lovely inspiration:

Minty Frosting

I have squeezed in a bit of crafting today, yet again the weather is just so rubbish, wet and windy.  Where is Spring?

I have made this card with spring in mind and for the challenge at The Shabby Tea Room and anything goes, just pick your own theme, so my theme is "Minty Frosting with Sweet Wishes"

I just love this little cupcake stamp from Kanban.  I have done some paper piecing and added some glossy accents to look like the cake has minty green frosting.  The greeting flag sentiment is from Pink Petticoat and I have made my favourite embellishment, organza flowers!!

I have also used the sketch from Mojo Monday.

Just a Sentiment

I can't believe it, we have snow.  Its very cold today, not like last week.  I really thought spring was here and even managed some gardening.

Oh well, good weather to stay indoors and craft.

I have made this card using the sentiment as the main topper.  The sentiment is from My Time Made Easy called chase your dreams.

I have added one of my favourite embellishments a handmade tulle and paper flower and also a pearl hat pin.

I have used dies from Spellbinders called marvelous squares to make the frame for the sentiment.

The card is for the following challenges:

Mojo Monday

and

The Shabby Tea Room - Oh So Pretty in Pink

The challenge is to be inspired by the photo and to use tulle, ribbon, lace, pink and a flower.

Sunflowers for Mother's Day

My daughter and I got busy at the weekend and made some sunflower cupcakes.  Its not Mother's Day here in France until May but thought we would join in.

I also saw these cute little lady bug chocolates and just had to buy them.  I think I will stash them away and give them to my daughter for Easter.  I thought they would be great to stick to a card as they have card on the bottom so will still be safe to eat, perhaps not to post though.

Happy Mother's Day everyone!!!

Butterflies and birdcages

Finally back to school this week.  My daughter has missed her school friends, as we could not have them over to play in case they got chicken pox.  May be we will have a play date this week, its good for my daughters french and mine.

Anyway here is a card I have made for the challenge at The Ribbon Reel called romantic elegance and the challenge is to be inspired by the colours in the photo below and to use flowers and ribbon.

I haven't used my stamps in a while so thought I would get them out and do some heat embossing.  so I used the birdcage stamp which is one of my favourites from Papermania called Chatsworth House and the butterflies are also Papermania called Summer Bloom.

I have then framed the birdcage using spellbinders dies called marvellous squares and added some paper flowers and ribbon.

Fairy Dust!!

I love this image called Fiona Fairy from My Time Made Easy she is just so cute and great for making cards for little princesses.  It was a card I made for my daughter to say get well soon.

I have added some glitter to her wings and to the mushroom's spots.  I have coloured the fairy with promarkers and added glossy accents to the bubbles.

This card is for the challenge at Cupcake Craft Challenge add some sparkle and The Cutie Pie Challenge Blog - Magical.

Spring is Here!

Well spring was here for a moment, the last couple of days here in France have been lovely but now we have the rain.  We managed some time in the garden doing a bit of weeding and tidying up.

Its still the school holidays and my little girl has had the chicken pox so not much fun to be had but we did venture out in the garden yesterday and played with some bubbles.

So to cheer my daughter up I made her Easter present but it still needs filling with chocolate which I will get later.  Chocolate doesn't last 5 minutes in our house.

I have made a little gift set.  The basket template, papers and digi are all available from My Time Made Easy.  The papers are called Spring has Sprung, the digi is called Easter is Here and the basket is called Bag-sket.

I have added yellow paper flowers using the Rose Creation die from Spellbinders and some seam binding to embellish the card and basket.
