In colour Lady Birds

Hello everyone and I hope you had a nice weekend.

I have a card to share today that I completely forgot to post.  It was created a while ago now for a challenge with the Daring Cardmakers.  At the time the challenge went live I had no internet but for some reason I just didn't share my card.

So now here it is.

I made a slim line card using all the New In Colours for 2022/2023.  I think I must be having a bit of a lady bird theme at the moment as I have used the lady bug stamps and matching punch.

I added some vellum to each of the lady bird wings which I think looks really pretty.

Thanks for stopping by today.

If you like any of the products I have used just click the links and it will take you straight to the website.

Daring Cardmakers - In The Long Run

Hello everyone.

Its the end of the week which means nearly the weekend and time for a challenge from the team at the Daring Cardmakers.

Joanne is our lovely host this week and as its a long bank holiday weekend in the UK, would like to see something long on your cards.  This could be a long shaped card, an image of something long or even a long journey.

I went with long cocktails on my creation this week as mojito is my favourite kind of long drink.

My card is also a back to school card for all the adults out there.  As much as I love my children sending them back to school is fabulous.

To create my card I used the Nothings Better Than stamp set and matching dies called Love You More Than.

I stamped and die cut several of the cocktails to match the colour of the designer series paper I have used. The designer series paper is a host set and is called Celebrate Everything.  The paper pack has all kinds of beautiful papers for every occasion and I picked out this pretty rainbow sheet because I love a rainbow.

Have a lovely weekend.

Chocolate lady bird treat bag

 Hello everyone.

I have another lady bird chocolate treat idea to share with you today.  This time its a bag.

I have used some retired designer series paper for the bag and the very cute lady bug builder punch and matching stamps called hello lady bug.

I love making little treats like these as they are great to give to customers to thank you for your order.

This one fastens with some pretty ribbon called Glittered Organdy which is so sparkly in real life.  The bow is made using some black and white gingham ribbon.  I must stock up on more of this as I can see me using a lot of it nearer to Christmas.

To make the box you will need a piece of cardstock that measures 7 x 6"
Score on the long side at : 1, 3 1/4, 4 1/4 and 6 1/2"
Score on the short side at : 1 and 4 1/2"
The image below shows you what you need to cut away.

Thanks for stopping by today and have a lovely day.

Chocolate Lady bird treat box

Hello everyone.

I am back from my little holiday and ready to craft.

I am sharing this cute little treat box today that holds a lady bird shaped chocolate.

I have used the Tea Boutique designer series paper to decorate the box and this one is made using Sweet Sorbet Cardstock which is one of the new in colours. I also tied the box closed with some pretty bakers twine.

I have also used a retired corner punch as I love how it just makes the box look more neat and just finishes it off nicely.

To make the box you will need a piece of cardstock that measures 9 3/4" x 7".
Score on the long side at : 2 1/2, 5 1/2, 8"
Score on the short side at : 2 and 5"
mark on the long side at : 4" and flip the card stock over to mark on the opposite side.

The photo below shows you where you should cut away and fold.

Thanks for stopping by today and have a lovely day.

Summer Holiday Time

 Hello everyone.

A  small post today to say that I will be spending some time away from my blog to have a little break with family.

So I just wanted to share with you my summer holiday inspired card.

I have used the Tree Lot Dies to create the card.  The dies are free during Sale a Bration with a £90 or 120 euros spend from any of the current catalogues.  These dies also coordinate with the Trees for Sale Stamp set from the Christmas mini catalogue.

Not only does the set make great Christmas cards you can also make cards for other occasions just like I have.

I am going to keep this card in my card stash as my husband does love his camper so this will be a great card for him.

Thanks for stopping by today and I will be back with lots of Christmas projects and the weekly challenge from the Daring Cardmakers in a couple of weeks.

Daring Cardmakers - Elemental Inspiration

Hello everyone and its Friday, so nearly the weekend.

As its now August we have a lovely elemental inspiration challenge from the team at the Daring Cardmakers.  Our lovely Nat has picked the image below and remember you need to use at least 3 elements.

For my card I picked the colours, shapes (circle and rectangles), flowers and some texture as I like the white bowl in the bottom corner.

I have used the Cup Of Tea Bundle for the tea cup of flowers which I then die cut to use as the topper on my card.  I also used some of the matching designer series paper from the coordinating suite called Tea Boutique.

I then had a lot of white space so I added some texture using the Brick and Mortar Embossing Folder.
I finished my card with a little bling.  I didn't add a sentiment to the card as I thought the card would cover lots of occasions from Birthday, thank you and just because.

Thanks for stopping by today and please head over to the Daring Cardmakers Blog for more lovely inspiration from the Design Team.

Have a lovely weekend.
