This is just a little post to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy 2022.

I will be taking a little break over the festive period to spend time with my family.

I will be back again in the new year with lots of new projects to share as the new Spring/Summer mini catalogue will be launching.

New catalogue launches 4th January.

A massive thank you to you all for supporting my little corner of craftiness.

Merry Christmas.

Merry Christmas Makes #14

Hello everyone.

 MERRY CHRISTMAS MAKES

We are at the end of my festive series.  So for todays projects I had to use one of my favourite bundles called Sparkle of the Season.

The stamp set is still available in the end of catalogue sale but unfortunately the dies have sold out.

This time I wanted to create a card with lots of festive foliage.

I have then created another card with a pretty wreath using the dies from the bundle.

I just want to say a huge thank you for joining me in this years Merry Christmas Makes. I have had so much fun creating lots of festive projects.

Merry Christmas Makes #13

 Hello everyone.

Merry Christmas Makes

For this project I decided I needed to get a little inky.  I haven't made an ink blended background in a while so I thought it must create a pretty snowy scene for this project.

I used our fabulous blending brushes to create the sky and used various shades of blue ink.  I started with the darkest shade and worked my way to the lightest.  I used 3 ink pads.

I then ripped a little bit of card stock to act as a stencil to create the snowy banks.  I inked just underneath to highlight them.

I used the whimsical tree stamps to create the fir trees and used another stamp from the set to create the stars in the sky.

I then finished the card with a little sentiment.

This card is ideal for posting as there is a lot of weight to it just a lovely stamped snowy scene.

Daring Cardmakers - Baubles, Boxes and Bows

 Hello everyone.

Its Friday and festive challenge time from the team at the Daring Cardamkers.  This time the challenge is to use things beginning with "B" on your creations.  You can choose one or go with three.

I have used baubles, a bow and berries (holly)

I have used a couple of my favourite stamp and die sets from Stampin Up.  For the wreath and holly I used the Sparkle of the Season bundle and for the baubles I used the Whimsical Trees bundle.

I also used some of the designer series paper from the painted Christmas set.  As the paper was in soft sea foam I decided to cut the wreath from the same colour but I added a little bit of sparkle.

I also thought that the black gingham ribbon would look lovely against the pale green so I added a bow to the wreath.

This is our last challenge and we are having a nice festive break.  Come back and join us on January 7th for lots of new challenges.

Merry Christmas everyone.

Thanks for stopping by today and please head over to the Daring Cardmakers Blog for more lovely inspiration from the Design Team.
