The Great Outdoors

Well I am very sad this week as its my last at Cupcake Craft.  It really gone super fast but I would just like to thank everyone for letting me share my work with you.   I have had a great time.  The challenges have been great fun.

So lets get to this weeks challenge and its all about what you do outside in 'The Great Outdoors' so I have decided to do gardening.

The image is from Sliekje digi stamps which is a great site as all the images are free.  I have coloured the image with promarkers and added some flowers in green and brown.  The backing papers and sentiment are from Pink Petticoat and I have tried to keep the colour scheme earthy using green and brown.

Hope you can join in!!!

The Ocean

Morning all, well I am getting ready to go on my holidays, well just a quick trip to England to see family and friends which I am really excited about. Before I go I have time to tell you about this weeks challenge at Cupcake Craft.  This weeks theme is all about 'The Ocean'

I have used papers and digi stamp from Pink Petticoat, HERE and HERE.  The brown paper at the bottom came from inside a roll of wrapping paper.  I was trying to make the backing papers look a bit like the beach and sea.  I have also added some glitter to the swirls of the paper and the image is coloured with pro markers.

Hope you can pop over and join in the challenge.

More Christmas

Hope you are all having a lovely week.  I have started packing for my week away in England but I haven't got a clue what to take, will I need warm clothes or summer clothes, who knows with the Great British weather.

Well with winter weather in mind here is my card:

I have used stamps from Annabelle Stamps. I won the stamp set for a previous card see Here and Here.  I have just simply stamped the image and added some glitter.  The backing papers are from Pink Petticoat and I have used the colours putty, blossom and turquoise.

The layout is taken from Mojo Monday.

This card is for the following challenges:

Challenge 26 - ho ho ho Christmas - Crafters Companion
Mojo Monday 250
Say It with Christmas - Annabelle Stamps Blog

Oops and I have just realised that the prize for the winner at Annabelle stamps is the same stamp I have got.   Maybe the Belles might like to see what I have done with my new stamp set.

Happy Anninversary

Tomorrow is my Sister in Laws 3rd Wedding Anniversary and just thought I would share the card I have made.

I have a tried to make the card a little special as the little black bow came from the ribbon that was around the wedding favours my Sister in Law made.

The wedding colour scheme was green and black so used a little of those colours.

Here is a little picture to share with you of their special day.  My husband took the photos for them and I love this one, so natural.

This card is for the anything goes challenge at LEJ Designs.

Le Tour de France

Its another fun week of inspiration at Cupcake Craft. This weeks theme is 'Le Tour de France' so any thing French or Tour de France related.

I have been lucky enough to watch the Tour de France pass through my local village.  So here is my take on the challenge.

I have used the colours of the french flag and added a little girl on a bike.  The digi stamp is from Sliekje Digi Stamps and the papers are from Pink Petticoat.  The sentiment is one printed out from the computer and I have wrote Happy Birthday in French.

Say it in......

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.  My daughter and I made white chocolate chip cookies today but she enjoyed making them better than tasting them, such a sweetie.

Well its colour challenge time over at Annabelle Stamps.  I found this weeks challenge hard as I didn't want to make a Christmas card and the colours are just begging to be used for that.

So here is my take and yes of course its Pink Petticoat again.

I really need to get some more craft supplies but the set of digital stamps called With Flowers is so versatile and can be used for all kinds of occasions.

I had added red and green glitter to the digi image and a gem heart.  I have also added a single green flower.  I have decoupage the image to give a bit of dimension.

Sweet Sparkles

Just a quick post with a card I have made for the challenge at The Ribbon Reel. Such a pretty photo for inspiration and the challenge is to create a card or project using the colours in the picture plus a heart, sparkle and ribbon or lace.

I have used a mixture of Vintage Rose and Perfect papers from Pink Petticoat.  I have used a punched heart and covered in it glitter then attached my sentiment.  The cupcake stand is from Papermania Summer Bloom and I have just stamped and heat embossed in pink and added a little glitter to the cakes.  The teapot is from Prima Printery stamp set and has also been heat embossed in pink.  I have then added a little lace to trim the bottom of the card and a bow and a coiled flower.

Red and Yellow

I am just so sick of all this rain and I am going on my holidays in a couple of weeks to England.  Hope the weather improves there as well.  Anyway I have made a card in a very bright red and yellow to cheer us all up.

I have used papers from a Do Crafts CD and the stamped image is from Annabelle Stamps called Tomorrows Dream.  I have then made some little coiled paper flowers.

This card is for two challenges:

Elegance and Lace

Its another fun challenge over at The Shabby Tea Room.  This weeks theme is 'elegance and lace' and to create a card or project inspired by the photo below and to use white/cream, kraft, pink and lace.

Here is my entry:

My inspiration for the card came from the chandelier in the photo.  The chandelier is from papermaina and I stamped and embossed it in gold and the frame was a free download from Prima Marketing via Facebook.  Unfortunately it is not available now but the current download is a free envelope and cover.  All you have to do is like their Facebook page.  HERE

I have used papers from Prima called nature's garden and made an organza flower using  Kraft.  I have also added a couple a pink roses and a flower from Prima.

Cupcake Craft - 200th Challenge

Its the 200th challenge at Cupcake Craft Challenge and this weeks theme is Number Cruncher.  All you have to do is include something numeric in your project.

I have used some lovely Prima products.  The backing papers are from the Natures Garden pad and I have cut out two of the birds from one of the papers.  The stamped images are from Prima Printery collection which is just my favourite stamp set to work with.  I have covered these images in clear embossing powder to give them a glossey finish and added a little glitter.  I have also added some Prima flowers and the organza flower I made myself along with the paper rose.

Hope you can stop by and take part in this weeks challenge.

First Christmas Card

Oh dear, I have made my first Christmas card.  How could I resist the challenge at Annabelle Stamps especially as the weather is more like winter than summer.

The entire card is made from items purchased at Pink Petticoat and I have used the sketch below at Sweet Stop Sketches for the lay out.

and the colour combo came from this weeks challenge at Daring Card Makers.

I have used Pink Petticoat papers called Putty, Stone, Turquoise, Ocean and New Leaf.  I hope they kind of match.

I have coloured the image with promarkers and added some crackle accents to little Rudolph's nose.

LEJ Designs - Challenge 10 - Fabulous Flowers

I have been following this blog now since its launch so thought I would give this weeks challenge ago called LEJ Designs - Fabulous Flowers. The challenge is to use flowers in your project.

Here is my card:

I have used a free digi stamp download from Pink Petticoat.  The paper are again from the vintage rose collection at Pink Petticoat, I was just using up what I have already printed out and I have added a little stamped and embossed butterfly.

The layout was taken from the weekly challenge at Mojo Monday.

TSTR Week # 121 'You're invited'

Sadly my month long Guest Design spot has finished at The Shabby Tea Room but that isn't going to stop me from entering this weeks challenge. How could I resist such a gorgeous challenge blog and brilliant Design Team cards.

This weeks themed is 'You're Invited' and you are asked to create a invitation inspired by the photo.

Such a pretty photo.

Here is my invitation.

I have used some free papers that I had saved on my computer from ages ago from Papercraft Inspirations, HERE.  The cupcake is a Kanban stamp which I have paper pieced and then added a little flag with 'You're Invited' stamped onto it.

Baby Girl - From small beginnings great things grow

Just thought I would share a new baby card, its a bit different.  I found a lovely sentiment at Pink Petticoat and thought it would make a lovely baby card.

Here it is:

I used papers from Pink Petticoat called vintage rose which are nice and girlie just right for the challenge at The Ribbon Girl.

I have also added some lace and ribbon.  The butterfly is stamped and heat embossed in pink.  I have made an organza flower and added some bunting.  Just wanted to make the card all soft and fluffy.  The photo isn't very clear, I found it  hard to take as the colours are really pale, so I apologise.

Summer Daze

Thought I would try and cheer myself up.  I was inspired by the weekend weather to make a summer card but sadly it didn't last, woke up to rain again this morning.  My little girl starts her summer holidays on Thursday so hope we have some nice weather soon.

Anyway here is my summer card.

I have used digi stamp from Sliekje Stamps but please forgive my use of promarkers as its not very good.  The backing papers were from Cardmaking and Papercraft Magazine last July, which came with a free set of fairy stamps.

I have used some crackle accents on the strawberrys.  As I have only two sets of promarkers I realised I needed a red so I used my daughters felt tips.  I really do need to buy more colours.

The sentiment is from Pink Petticoat and I have added some buttons and ribbon to finish.

This card is for the following challenges:

Joanna Sheen Challenge - Summer Daze

Card Patterns - Sketch 172

Guest design spot - Cupcake Craft

Here it is, my first week as a guest designer for Cupcake Craft Challenge.  I am super excited to be sharing my work with a great bunch of talented people.

The challenge this week is 'Bright as a Button' and to use bright colours and buttons.

I have used papers and digi stamp all from Pink Petticoat.  The image is coloured with promarkers and I have added some glitter to the icecream.  The little medallion was made with matching paper and I have used buttons to finish.

Check out the other design teams creations and pop over and join in the challenge.
