Crafty Bloggers Network Challenge 15 'Spring time'

I thought I would have ago at the Crafty Bloggers Network  weekly challenge, so here is my entry:

The flower image is a digi stamp from Pink Petticoat and I have coloured it using Pro Markers and have added some little yellow roses from my Rose Creation die by Spellbinders.

TSTR Week 103 "Shabby Shutters"

Here is my weekly challenge entry into the Shabby Tea Room

You had to include a distressed element and navy blue.
Below is the inspiration photo.

I decided to make a New Baby card as my daughters teacher has just given birth and I thought it would be nice to send her a card.

The stamped image of the moses basket was paper pieced and I coloured the little bows in with pro markers. The Welcome stamp was from the printery collection of stamps.  I also distressed the backing papers using the edge of my scissors, it worked but made a bit of a mess.
I then made the organza flower by cutting out differnt size circles of material and melting the edges using a tea light candle.

Still no photo! I went to get the camera and noticed it was gone, my husband took it to work so will have to wait again.  I really like my little box it was taken from a freebie at Waltzing Mouse Stamps but I have changed mine as I don't have labels 16 Spellbinders die instead I have used Big Scalloped circles from Spellbinders for the lid and base.

Photo to follow.

Oh dear, my Big Shot cutting mat has just broke.  Poor thing has been used loads lately.  I have made lots of paper flowers and its finally given up on me.  Must get a new one ordered ASAP otherwise I am lost without it.

I was having play with my new Pink Petticoat papers mentioned in my previous post when it happened, so have no card as yet.  I have however made a gift box so will post a photo soon, hopefully tomorrow.

Boudoir!!

Here is another card inspired by a picture I found in an old copy of House Beautiful magazine.  There was a section on bedrooms and a card idea popped into my head using similar colours.

The backing paper was from a Docrafts CD which I have had for ages and the stamps are from Papermania, embossed in purple cosmic shimmer powder but because I used cream card it gave the image a different colour.  Also more of my handmade flowers that I just love.

I think it would be more suited to maybe a Wedding card or a Bridal Shower.

Thinking of Summer

This card was made because I was thinking about the summer during this cold weather.

The papers are from Pink Petticoat and I made my own hat pin for the flag using a cocktail stick and some beads.  The butterfly stamps is from the Summer Bloom collection by papermania and the bird cage also by Papermania from the Chatsworth house set.  More handmade flowers from spellbinders.  I love making them I could sit for hours but my fingers do get a little bit sore.

Christmas 2011 and French Alps

For Christmas presents last year I made boasting books for my daughters Grandparents and Great Nanna, so here is a couple of pages ready to add to it, as I left some blank pages in the back.

The papers I found free on the internet and the snowflakes are cut from paper downloaded at Pink Petticoat.

TSTR # Week 100 "Candy Hearts"

Here again is another entry into The Shabby Tea Room weekly challenge.

The Challenge is to create a card using the picture below as inspiration and to use a food theme and hearts.  I have used backing papers from Printable Heaven from the Cake Receipe set along with the little apron that comes with it.  I have also included some paper flowers and little gem hearts.  The stamped images is from Papermania Summer Bloom and I have used pink embossing powder.  The little spoons are stamped in black and I have added a little glitter and the doily I found in my local supermarket and thought it just added to the whole cake theme.

Brilliant Memories!!

This is my favourite photo taken at our wedding nearly 5 years ago.

The photo was taken as we left the Mairie, which is the town hall in our local village a bit like a Registry Office in the UK

It was such an amazing day so I decided to scrapbook this photo and yet again I brought out my Prima Papers.  With a few more handmade flowers and the stamped images are from the Prima Printery collection.  I found these stamps to be useful for all sorts of cards and including the dreaded male card.

Another Prima card

I must try and make some cards using something else but I love these papers.

The stamped image is taken from the Papermania Chatsworth House collection and has been embossed with white embossing powder and yet again more paper flowers from my rose creation die.

Loving Prima Marketing!!!

Here is a card made with the beautiful Prima Pixie Glen papers. I sat with these papers for ages, it was easier to scrapbook with them but I got there in the end.

The fairy and the cup I cut out from the papers and used clear embossing powder and a bit of glitter to make them stand out a bit.  Again I have made more paper flowers which I  love but my fingers are a bit sore today from making them.

TSTR #99 - Love is in the Air

Here is my entry for The Shabby Tea Room weekly challenge.

The inspiration came from the photo below and you had to use either a postage or mail element so I used a postcard which came from the Prima Pixie Glen set of papers. The paper flower was made by using the Spellbinders rose creation die which I love and I made the organza flower using a tea light to melt the edges.  The organza material came from my own wedding nearly 5 years ago, its was used as the table runners and I could not part with it.  It will make lovely reminders for Valentines or Wedding Anniversary cards for my husband.
