Happy Mothers Day

Just wanted to say Happy Mothers Day to all.  We are sharing Mothers days with my Mother in Law, and my husbands Nana and Auntie which will be lovely, all generations together.  Apart from its not my Mother Day yet as in France we don't celebrate it until May.

So here is a card I have made not a Mothers Day card but a card still for someone special in your life.

The papers are from Prima called Pixie Glen and the little bird cage is from the Chatsworth Collection by Papermania.  I have stamped the image in back then added clear embossing powder over the top with a little glitter.

Happy Mothers Day!!!!

I need more time on the computer!!!

Well I am at in again, two posts on one day.  When my husband is out at work I am in his office putting all the blog posts on at once as I know as soon as he gets back I won't be able to get on it.

So here is my second post of the day this time something for the teenagers using the same papers as before.

The little stamped sentiment is from the set called Printery from Prima and I can't remember where I got the digi from as its been sat on my computer for a while.

I have used a little glossy accents on the windows and lights and coloured the image using promarkers.  I have also used a silver pen on the badge, wing mirrors and bumper.

The sketch for this card is from the challenge at Sketch Saturday.

Dreaming of Summer

After the rather unusual warm weather my thoughts have turned to summer.  So with thinking about long hot days spent in the garden or at the beach here is my summer inspired card.

The image and the papers are all from Pink Petticoat but I am afraid the ice cream digis are no longer available.

I have then used my promarkers, glitter and some glossy accents.  To finish I have added some little flowers and a star.

The layout for the card is taken from the challenge at Mojo Monday.

Well I hope the weather improves again as we have family coming to visit from England, come on sunshine we want to see you again.

Cupcakes!!!

I have been practicing a little with my cupcake designs again and I just wanted to share some of my recent attempts.

I have asked a friend to help teach me how to cover a big cake using fondant which I hope to use for my daughters birthday but I suppose you need to start small.

Here is just a little selection a couple of Christmas designs:

And here is my attempt at Minnie Mouse.  I made these for my daughters best friends birthday as a gift.

But as always the children ate the icing and left the cake!!

Have a great weekend!!!

Fresh Brewed Tea

Another post today.  I can never get on the computer as my husband needs to use it for work so when I do I seem to overload with posts for one day. Sorry everyone!!

Anyway this time I wanted to do something different so I got out my templates from My Time Made Easy.

I decided to make something tea related to enter into the The Shabby Tea Room challenge which is Anything Goes.

The template is called The Flapper and inside I filled it will all kinds of tea and some good old British Tea and gave it to a friend for her birthday.

The digital stamp set I have used is called Apothecary Labels and the papers are called Tea Parlor.

I have then add a few flowers and pearls and a ribbon to keep the box closed.

Make A Wish

Well that's the school holidays over.  I actually can't wait for the next set as its my daughters birthday and its the big 5!!  She is super excited as we are having a Doc Mcstuffins theme.  She loves this program its about a little girl who has a magic stethoscope that makes her toys come to life then she has to mend them.

I have found a few good sites for some free party pintables so will pop this in a post nearer her birthday.

Anyway here is todays card:

I wanted to make something for the boys or a little ones birthday as my card box is lacking in both these areas.

I got my inspiration from the challenge at Cupcake Inspirations and look at the lovely photo:

and the sketch came from the challenge at Sketch Saturday.

I have used a stamp set from Kanban which also has a fairy and loads of cupcakes in the set which I love.  I have then used my Spellbinders Marvelous Squares die and added a few stars.

Wedding Anniversary Wishes

We are having a lovely week to the school holidays.  Gorgeous sunshine, I have even started to tidy the garden up and bought a few plants yesterday.  Lets hope it stays a little longer.

Here is a card I made for a friend to celebrate 25th years together.  It was for her husband so said she didn't want to much fluff.

I stuck with the silver and white theme but I just had to add a flower.

The papers I used are from Pink Petticoat.

This card is for the challenge at A Gem Of A Challenge.

Just a quick post today as I am busy making decorations and party favours ready for my daughters birthday. Also its my Mum in Laws birthday so have some cupcakes to baked.

Polka Dot Love

I think I have really been inspired by the weather yesterday as here is my second post for today.

This time its for the challenge at Paper Sweeties with the beautiful photo below for inspiration. The colours are just so soft and pretty. I do love those spotty wellies!!

Here is my card:

This time I have used the same papers as my previous post from Printable Heaven and used the stamp set from Paper Sweeties called Make Today Beautiful.

I have paper pieced the flowers and the pot in matching paper and stamped the leaves onto corrugated card and cut them out.

The layout for my card was taken from the challenge at Sketch Saturday.

Pretty Polka Dots

What a beautiful day yesterday.  My daughter and I went for a little bike ride, well my daughter rode her bike and I just ran after her.  Hopefully we will get her training wheels off by summer.  We then did a little shopping and visited a café.  The weather was so nice we even had our coats off and sat outside.

So when I saw this weeks challenge at  The Shabby Tea Room I was inspired by the weather yesterday and the thought of spring.

My first Easter card:

The topper and papers are a download from Printable Heaven called Easter and Mothers Day recipes.

I have added a few paper flowers and a wooden butterfly.
