Daring Cardmakers - Wear It Pink

Hello everyone and welcome to the Friday challenge from the team at the Daring Cardmakers.

This weeks lovely host is Joanne and as October is Breast Cancer Awareness month the challenge is to feature someone or something wearing pink.

I went with a little hippo wearing a little pink flower.

I have used the very cute Hippo Happiness stamp set for the butterflies and the hippo. I also used one of the sentiments from the set along with the pretty stars.

I think my hippo looks really happy with the little flower just look at that smile.

Coffee For Two Treat

Hello everyone.

Out of all the things I love to make, coffee, chocolate and tea gifts come in a very close second to shaker projects.

Stampin Up also have the ultimate in stamps and dies to help me create such lovely projects. I think you can tell how much fun I am having with the Nothing's Better Than set. My advice is to have a set of coffee (or tea), chocolate and cocktail style stamps in your stash. Then you will have a stamp set that covers just about what everyone likes. And its great for both male and female cards or projects.

For todays project I have created a little holder for two sticks of coffee and a wooden spoon.

You will be need a piece of card stock that measures 3"x 11 3/4"

Score of the long side at: 5" and 5 1/4"

Score on the short side at: 1/4", 1/2", 2 1/2" and 2 3/4"

The picture below shows you where you need to cut. Add glue to the tiny square tabs and fold up the bottom section to create the pocket for your coffee.

I just love to make little treats like this as its always good to have a stash of thank you gifts ready for my customers or to gift to a friend just because.

Milka Chocolate Monday

Hello everyone.

More chocolatey fun today.

I have created a little bag this time seen as all my other projects have been boxes.

I have used the gorgeous painted Christmas designer series paper. Even though its a Christmas paper pack some of the designs are great for all occasions.

I also used a die from the sunflower dies and added some evening evergreen ribbon.

To make the bag you will need a piece of designer series paper that measures 5 1/2" x 6 "

Score on the long side at 2", 2 3/4", 4 3/4" and 5 1/2"

Score on the short side at 3/4" and 4"

Below is a little template so you can see where to cut and where to use the punch. As this is an updated project from last year I have used the detailed trio punch to make the top and closure of the bag.

These would make stunning table favours or place names at a wedding or even your Christmas table as they are a really lovely size. Where I have stamped the greeting you could add the guests name instead.

I have only two more projects to share with you and these last two might be a little more festive.
