Happy New Year

Happy New Year everyone and what better way to start than the challenge at The Shabby Tea Room.
Look at the beautiful inspiration photo:

The challenge this week is a colour challenge and to use black, craft and cream/white.

I have used the gorgeous paper collection from Prima called printery. The little clock is also from the same collection which I have stamped in black and covered in clear embossing powder.

I have also made an organza flower using craft paper and the centre bead is from an old bracelet that I broke.

I also had a play with my cutting dies using Spellbinders marvellous squares which I cut and embossed.

  2. Hi Dawn - I love your flower. Did you singe the edges to get that nice curl? Love how you layered paper inbetween the fabric! Your card is beautiful to look at too with many interesting elements.

    1. Hi, yes I used a tea light to melt the edges. Watch out for burnt fingers and don't get too close with the organza as it can burn. xxx
