Hello Crafters.
I am popping by today with a little post as its World Coffee Day this weekend. What a good excuse to get the coffee themed craft items out and drink lots of coffee. The only thing that's missing is the chocolate.
So as I was inspired by a day to celebrate coffee and the lovely picture over at Paper Sweeties I thought I would make this little card.
I started with a piece of white card stock which I embossed with the folder from Spellbinders called Picnic by Tammy Tutterow. I then added a little bit of ink called tea dye by Tim Holtz just to high light the embossed areas.
I then added a couple of strips of paper from a Christmas set by First Edition and Trimcraft.
The stamped greeting is from a set at Paper Sweeties called Coffee, Yes Please.
I then used the Shapeabilities Coffee Break die from Seth Apter at Spellbinders which I cut from kraft card stock.
I then added two cute little takeaway coffee cups using the Die D-Lites Hipster One set from Spellbinders. I did a little bit of paper piecing on the cups and die cut the little sleeve that comes in the set.
Please stop by the Spellbinders website for more details about the dies used by clicking the above product links.
Have a great day and I am now off for a cup of coffee.
Have a great day.
Brilliant design Dawn - love it! Shabneez x
