Hello all and I hope you had a lovely weekend.
Our weekend was super busy with my daughters birthday on Friday and her party Sunday. So now that her birthday is over I thought I would share the card I made her.
My daughter is a fan of the game Minecraft and she said that it would make a great party theme. I thought it can't be that hard its just all squares. I was so wrong, I never want to see another little square again!
To make the card I mat and layered some kraft card stock onto a square of black. I then cut out some tiny squares in different shades of green. The base is supposed to look like an earth block which is used in the game.
I then used Die D-Lites You've Got Game Set and cut the sentiment out in black card stock and the games controller out of black mirror card.
The card is clean and simple and the best part was my daughter loved it.
Thanks for stopping by and next week I will have the treat boxes I made for the kids to take home to share with you using more dies from Spellbinders.
This is so cool Dawn, no wonder your daughter loved it. Unsurprisingly I have some knowledge of Minecraft and it's perfect for a fan. Cathy x
ReplyDeleteThank you. I struggled with this one but I wish I'd know you were an expert you could have helped me. X
