Daring Cardmakers - Shinning Lights

Hello everyone and welcome to the festive challenges from Daring Cardmakers.

Firstly I want to apologise for not getting around all your lovely blogs to comment as I have been so busy.  I am currently doing a course here in France so that I can be a Home Help.  I am finding the course very hard going as its all in French and I just haven't had the time on evening to catch up with blog commenting etc...  Please accept my apologises and thank you for your understanding.

Anyway on to this weeks challenge.  The team would like to see some sort of light featured on your creations this week and remember it does have to be a card.  Any crafty project which includes fairy lights, candles, stars etc is fantastic.

To create my card I used this lovely paper from Stampin Up which has this very lovely scene of Christmas tress and fair lights.  The designer series paper is called Night Before Christmas.

I wanted to make the paper the main focus of the card so all I did was add a stamped greeting using a stamp set called Perfectly Plaid and a little Jingle Bell.

When you have paper this pretty it doesn't need much.  I also added some glossy accents  to the lights but its hard to see in the photo.
