Halloween Bird Cage

Hello Bloggers and Crafters.

Today I am sharing with you another book folded project but this time for Halloween.

I am following on from last weeks Spellblogger project to show you the Halloween dies from Spellbinders.

Check out last weeks Halloween post HERE.

This time I wanted to create something you could decorate your table with or place on a shelf.

I have a bird cage on my book shelf decorated in flowers so I am going to replace it with this one ready for Halloween.

My daughter loves Halloween and I can't wait to see her dressed up and my little one as well.

I create my bird cage first and this time I inked up the edges of each page with some black ink.  I then added some orange/mustard coloured lace.

The tree is a die called Spooky Tree from Spellbinders.  I cut this out twice.  One from black cardstock and one from copper mirror card.  I then glued them together but created a drop shadow effect.  I then glued this to the front of the bird cage.

I then added other die cut trees without the drop shadow and placed them around the sides.

Next I cut lots of bats out and placed these all over the bird cage.  The set comes with a little bat and the word SPOOKY.

Thanks for stopping by and come back next week for more Halloween inspiration from Spellbinders.

For full details about the dies I have used please check out Spellbinders Website.

Have a great day.

xXx
