Monthly Die Cutting Clubs and My Creation

Hello Crafters.
I am back with another Spellblogger post from Spellbinders.  So following on from yesterdays post where I showed you the contents of the box, today I have a couple of projects to share.
First is a little card I have made using The Club Kit of the Month for June.

I started by taking one of the card blanks that's in the kit and adding a piece of the textured plain card stock in the light pink.  I then trimmed a piece of the patterned paper to fit my card.

There were so many embellishments to choose from in the set so I selected a few of my favourites.  A photo frame and a large flower which has some glitter already added to it.
I then added one of the large gold 3d stickers which says "hello" and one of the smaller transparent stickers that say "fabulous".  To finished I added a few of the gems and added some of the dark pink twine.
I tried to add a bit of everything to the card from the kit but realised I hadn't used any of the dies.
So I decided to make a box using some of the left over pink textured card.

I trimmed the card to measure 6"x 8.5".  I scored on the long side at 2", 4", 6" and 8".  Then on the short side at 2".  I then folded all the score lines and on the long side which will be the bottom I snipped up in the score lines to the 2" mark, this then created the base.

Before I glued my box together I added a small piece of the pattern paper to the front and I die cut one of the little hexagons to make a tag.  I then added a sticker to the tag and punched a few holes to close the bag. Just slightly pinch your bag shut at the top to attach your ribbon or twine.  I finished the bag with a few gems and a little 3d gold sticker.

I love a craft product that you get your moneys worth from and these kits you do.
Not only is there enough supplies to make ten cards but you could easily make some little treat boxes.  I think you could get more than 10 cards out of the kit just by including your own card blanks.
This kit is ideal if you are just starting out as a crafter.  A piece of designer paper, a topper and a greeting and you have made some lovely cards for your friends and family.
