Queen For A Day

Hello Crafters.

Well where did the week go?  We have registered our little boy at school and he starts in a few weeks we just have to get this potty thing mastered.  He is doing great though.

As the week has gone super fast its challenge time at Daring Cardmakers.

The lovely Svenja is hosting the challenge this week and its called

Queen For A Day

Sept 22nd was Anne of Cleves' birthday (4th wife and survivor of Henry VIIIthe ), so make a royalty-themed card (yes, fairy queens and frog princes are also allowed)

My card is a little fairy queen in training.  I think that's perhaps why she is without her wings.
She does wear a pretty crown made from die cut stars.

The image is from a set by Kanban that I have had in my stash for years and it came with lots of cupcakes.  I coloured her with promakers and added some die cut stars to make a little crown for her.

The castle in the background which I cut from silver glitter card is from Spellbinders called Shapeabilities Inspire Sandcastle Inn.

I cut the castle out again in gold mirror card and added back in some of the windows and the door.

Don't forget to stop by the Design Team Blogs over at Daring Cardmakers for more lovely inspiration.

Have a lovely weekend and thanks for stopping by.

xXx
