September Elemental Inspiration

 Hello Crafters.

The count down has begun.  Its the last few days of the school holidays.  My little girl is looking forward to going back to school but I think its because she has a new bag and school supplies.  She really enjoyed going shopping and picking it all herself.  She is getting so grown up now.

Its Friday and challenge time over at Daring Cardmakers.  Its the first Friday of the month so this week its an elemental inspiration challenge.

Check out the dreamy picture our host Kathy picked for this week.

Remember to pick at least 3 elements to include on your creation.

For my card I picked the colours, flowers and the brick work.

To create my card I started with an embossing folder by Tammy Tutterow called Picnic from Spellbinders.  I then added a little ink to it and sprayed the folder with water and added my piece of card stock.   I then put the embossing folder through my Platinum Machine to create the embossed effect.  To add a little bit of detail I used a tiny amount of gilding wax to random areas.

I then went on to create the little hydrangea flower using the Shapeabilities Create A Hydrangea die from Spellbinders.  Its such a lovely little die and so delicate looking.

If you check out my previous post HERE.  I am having a little GIVEAWAY to win the same die.  All you need to do is leave a comment on the previous post and you could win this fabulous die.  You have until Monday 4th September and good luck.

Please stop by the Design Team blogs at Daring Cardmakers to check out their lovely creations.

Have a great weekend.
