Good Morning.
I hope you had a lovely weekend. We had another Halloween party to go to. This time it was one organised by the school committee to raise funds. I baked a batch of cupcakes which the kids always love. Now that Halloween is over its time to get stuck into some Christmas crafting.
For this weeks Spellblogger post from Spellbinders I decided to go all traditional. By that I got out my decorative framed dies and got layering up.
Any of the Spellbinders nesting dies will work great for this. The one I have used was hidden away in my stash. Its ones of the first Spellbinder dies I bought many years ago but I am afraid its not available any more. This was one of the first pretty dies I purchased. Before that I think I only had a set of scalloped edge circles.
I had a play about with my set of dies and layered it up using lots of gold and red card stock and a piece of patterned paper.
For the centre of the card I used theDie D-Lies Ho Ho Ho Holiday die and cut the sentiment from gold card stock.
I then used the Die D-Lies Candy Cane Holiday Die to create the little bow.
I then finished my card with some ribbon and a little gold jingle bell.
I hope I have inspired you to dig through your stash and pull out your older dies that you haven't played with for a while.
Thanks for stopping by today and please click over on to the Spellbinders Website and check out the range of Christmas and Holiday dies available.
gorgeous Dawn
