Feeling A Little Blue

Hello all.

I am rather late posting my card for the Daring Cardmakers feeling blue challenge.  I am busy with my French course and enjoying the gorgeous weather.

Its Nats turn to host this weeks challenge and Nat would like to see blue featured on your creations this week.

"Blue is always a colour I associate with Cornwall - the iconic blue stripes of Cornishware pottery, the gorgeous indigo fabric prints (especially in Seasalt - yep, I bought another shopper bag...), and just the general weathered blues on boats and buildings all about."

When I think of the colour blue its reminds me of the cold with snow and of course Christmas.

So I created a festive shaker card.  Another one ready to stash away so I am not rushing to make them later in the year.

I used a snowflake stencil to make the background and used a two different shades of blue ink.

To create the shaker part I used lots of beads and sequins from the Blue Christmas Letterbox available from Bubbly Funk.

Thanks for stopping by today and please stop by the Daring Cardmakers Blog to see what the design team created.

Have a lovely weekend.

xXx
