Cordinating Peacock Card

I hope you have had a lovely weekend.

Following on from last weeks blog posts where I showed you a gift box and a bag, I thought I would share with you a card I created to match.

I wasn't really a fan of the colour Old Olive but now that I have been working with it its sort of grown on me.

I just love this Detailed Peacock die.  Its die cuts so beautifully when used with foiled card.

I also inked up a piece of white card stock.  I blended pretty peacock, shaded spruce and night of navy together then used the peacock feather die.

I also stepped out of my comfort zone and used a coloured card base.  This is something I don't normally do.  I usually stick to white but who knows you may see me do more of this now as I like it.

I also used the stitched rectangles for the card mats.  This set is going to be another go to set just like the stitched shapes.

Thanks for stopping by today.
