Sailing Home Post It Note Holder

I shared this project back in August but I never told you any details about it as the post I shared was a little nod to my Dad.

So today I thought I would give you a few more details.  Also as Christmas is approaching these would make lovely little gifts.

I found these little pens in the supermarket and they were the perfect size for this project.

There are lots of tutorial over on U tube and check this one out below

The post it pad measures 3"x 3".

Cardstock measures: 7 3/8" x 3 1/4"
Score on long side at: 3 1/8", 3 1/2" and 3 7/8"

I decided to use the sailing home stamp set and matching designer series paper.
I also created a life buoy for the front using the stitched shapes die and I added some of the bakers twine from the suite too.

I made this with my Dad in mind as he was always making little lists and always had a post it pad by the telephone.  This design just makes it a little bit more special.

Thanks for stopping by today.
