Geared Up Garage for Fathers Day

Hello everyone and I hope you had a lovely weekend.

Today I am sharing a card I created for Fathers Day which is coming up.  I created this card for my children to give to their Dad.

This will be my first Fathers day without my own Dad which I know is going to be very hard but I have created a card for him to put in a keepsake box I have which I will share later this week.

My husband is really into cars and motorbikes and has just recently finished renovating a camper van.  So I though the set called Geared Up Garage would be perfect for him,

I didn't use the sentiments from the stamp set, which are great ones for Father Day instead I used a set called Family Party as I just wanted something simple.  This stamp set is great if you want to add that little personal touch to a card.

I used one of the new colours for the background of the card called misty moonlight with the bricks and mortar embossing folder.  I am loving this new in colour its a very pretty shade of blue.

I also used some of the lovely new in colour enamel dots to finish the card.

This card would also be a great one for a masculine birthday.

    1. Yes, its very hard but now I find that I make cards to remember him by, as I know that he loved to receive one of my handmade creations.
