Its weeks number two of our festive inspired projects over at the Daring Cardmakers.
This week you need to create a card featuring parcels all wrapped up, a gift for a friend or even a little chocolate treat.
I love chocolate so I created a little chocolate treat. I bought some chocolate lollies in Lidl which came in a pack of 10, so had a great idea to make them more pretty.
I trimmed the length of an A4 sheet of Misty Moonlight cardstock into a 2" strip. I then scored on the long side at 7 3/4" and 8". I cut an oval aperture using the Stitched Shape Dies. This is where the lolly will sit.
I stamped all over the card stock using one of the snowflake stamps from the Snowflake Wishes Bundle. I added some bling using the Blue Adhesive back gems. I finished the lolly holder using the scalloped tag topper punch and some pool party sheer ribbon. I love this tag topper punch as you can use it for other projects not just tags. It also makes your tag making super fast, which I love.
As these chocolate lollies come in a pack of 10 I still have another 9 to play with but sadly that is now 8 as I just need to try one to make sure they were ok to gift away, oops.
Thanks for stopping by today and please head over to the Daring Cardmakers Blog for more lovely festive inspiration from the design team.
Have a lovely weekend.
