WOW, what a week. We had freezing rain here in France. The schools were closed and I couldn't get to work, the roads were like ice rinks, so dangerous. So we all stayed snug and cosy and home.
I am so excited to share this project with you today.
I am a massive fan of shaker cards so when the idea popped into my head to fill one of the jar domes with shells I just had to try it out and this was the result. I love it.
I embossed some of the Designer Series Paper from the Sea and Sand Suite with the sea bed embossing folder. I then created the shaker jar element. I added a few of the stamped and die cut images from the Friends are like Seashells bundle to the inside of the jar. I also added a little extra sparkle by using the sequins from the Whale of a Time suite and the Flowers For Every Season gems. Some of the sequins are tiny seashells which are just perfect for this project.
I included some more stamped and die cut images to the front of the card and added the beautiful sentiment to the top. To finsih the card I added some of the opal rounds, these are just stunning.
