Jar of Love Box Frame

Good morning.

As Christmas is fast approaching I wanted to make and share a little gift idea with you.  This is something you could perhaps make for a neighbour or for your child's school teacher.

I also have a little picture tutorial for you to show you how to make the box frame.

To decorate the box I used the beautiful Jar Of Love and Everyday Jar Framelits Dies.  This is one of my favourite sets and I find I keep going back to these as they are just so lovely and very versatile.

You need to start with a square of card stock and score on all sides at an 1/2".

Next you need to score at 2 1/2" and 5 3/4" just down to the second score line.  Do this on two opposite sides.

I have now coloured in on the photo below where you need to cut and the short score lines you made will make the lovely neat corners on your box frame.

I find it easier to use wet glue as this gives you a bit of wriggle room and glue the straight sides first.

Then glue the opposite sides and you should have your box ready to decorate.

Thanks for stopping by today and if you have any question about the box frame tutorial please ask.

Please pop over to the Stampin up Website for more details and when placing an order please add me (Dawn Barwick), country (France), address (St Hernin) as your demonstrator.
