Go Out Side - Its Summer

Hello All.

"Go Outside Its Summer" is the theme from our lovely host Miri over at Daring Cardmakers.

Let's celebrate spending time outside in the sunshine! What can you do outside in the summer? Show us on your cards. Swimming, having a BBQ, walking around in flipflops or barefoot, reading a book on a deck chair, eating ice-cream, lying in the park, having a picnic etc.

I picked eating ice cream.

I used the Broadway Bound Suite from Stampin Up and instead of using the colour scheme of the suite I went with the Subtles Collection.

I love the rainbow of ice creams in the pretty subtle colours.

I started with a square of Soft Sea Foam and mat and layered some white card stock over the top for my base.

I then stamped and heat embossed in gold the "Make A" and added the die cut "Wish" also from Soft Sea Foam, my now favourite colour.

I then cut a thin strip of white card stock and used some more soft sea foam to create a thin border.  I added another greeting again using gold embossing powder.

Next I stamped and die cut 5 little ice cream cones in blushing bride, so saffron, soft seam foam, balmy blue and highland heather from the Subtles Classic Stampin Pad Assortment. To create my little rainbow.

Such a soft and pretty card and very different from the original colour scheme of the suite.

Please stop by the Daring Cardmakers Blog to check out how the Design Team were inspired and we can't wait to see your creations.

Please pop over to the Stampin up Website for more details and when placing an order please add me (Dawn Barwick), country (France) as your demonstrator.
Thanks for stopping by today.
