Stitched Shape Pumpkin

Hello everyone.

Its Halloween!  What have you got planned?  I am taking my children to a party this afternoon which is organised by our local village and they are very excited.

As its Halloween I thought I would share with you a cute pumpkin card.

To make the card I started by embossing a piece of white card stock with the very gorgeous Tin Tile embossing folder.  I then embossed some early espresso card stock and tore the edges a little and added this to the front of the card.  I wanted a little bit of extra detail so I added some soft suede ink to the white and some lovely copper embossing powder to the brown and heat set this.

I then cut the pieces I needed to make the pumpkin.  I used the smallest oval from the stitched shapes set and cut of 5 of these from pumpkin pie card stock.  I then added some stamped details using the flourish from the Timeless Textures stamp set. I then cut a circle using the same stitched shapes set and glued the ovals to this to resemble a pumpkin.

For the leaves I used the Every Day Jar Framelits and cut out the foliage using
cajun craze and crushed curry card stock.

To finish the card I added a little sentiment banner from the Jar Of Love stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by today

Please pop over to the Stampin up Website for more details and when placing an order please add me (Dawn Barwick), country (France), address (St Hernin) as your demonstrator
