Daring Cardmakers - Cheer Someone Up

So sorry that I missed last weeks challenge from Daring Cardmakers I just haven't had the time to create anything.  I had exams and life just sort of got in the way.

I am normally really good and I get posts scheduled in plenty of time but revising had to come first.

I did manage to create something for Miri's challenge this week which was to create a card to cheer someone up who might be going through a tough time or who isn't feeling great.

When I saw this sentiment from the stamp set called Sailing Home I though it was perfect to let someone know you are thinking about them.

I created the background first by using an embossing folder called High Seas as I wanted my card to look like it was under water.

I then die cut the anchor and sea weed from the Smooth Sailing Dies.

I also added a few sequins to look like bundles.

The sentiment reads "let hope by your anchor through the storms of life"  I think this sentiment is lovely for lots of reasons and lots of personnel ones for me.  If I received this card in the post it would definitely cheer me up.

Thanks for stopping by today and please head over to the Daring Cardmakers Blog for more lovely inspiration from the Design Team.

Have a lovely weekend.

    1. Thank you. I found last week very stressful and no time to make anything which I hate, I love having time to craft. I think the exam went ok I was just happy I understood the question in French.
