Snow Globe Christmas

Good morning.

I am following on with a bit of a theme this week and using the Jar Of Love stamp and die set from Stampin up.  And how lovely the set works for other occasions and with other stamp sets.

For this card I used 4 different sets to create this lovely snow globe shaker Christmas card.

I started with a piece of white card stock and I heat embossed the snowflakes using silver embossing powder and added the greeting to the bottom corner in black ink.

Next I die cut the elements to make the shaker card using the Jar of love stamp set and Everyday Jars Framelits Dies.

I stamped the jar and lid and heat embossed this in silver.  I then cut out several frames of the jars (about 6) which stops all the sequins falling out. (You can use 3D foam but I prefer this method).       I created my little scene in the back using Lovely as a Tree and cut the deer from the Card Front Builder Dies, which is just the perfect size for the shaker.

(All the products I have used are listed at the bottom of the post)

Next you need to assemble you shaker jar.

I glued all the frames together and added the scene in the back.  Next I added the sequins and cut out a piece of window sheet.  I then place the stamped jar image over the top and glued this in place on my card.

I had to be careful not to over load my shaker with sequins as my little deer just about disappeared in a snow drift.

This is just one of my favourite cards to make with the set and I love shaker cards.
