The challenge is to incorporate at least one thing beginning with each letter of the word MAY into your card. For example colours, words, 'things' or techniques beginning with the letters
Perhaps you could use:
M - Magenta, Mustard, Maypole, Masking
A - Anniversary, Amber, Arch, Anchor, Apple
Y - Yellow, Yacht, Yupo paper, You
A - Anniversary, Amber, Arch, Anchor, Apple
Y - Yellow, Yacht, Yupo paper, You
For my card I used
M: Mat of Mint Macaron coloured cardstock
A: Aperature
Y: Yellow
I cut an Aperture into a piece of white card stock then I added foam squares all over the back and added this to a Mat of Mint Macaron coloured cardstock.
I used a pretty stamp set called Perennial Birthday. I stamped some of the flowers from the set and coloured them in with some Yellow ink and an aqua painter. I then fussy cut these. I also stamped around the Aperture with some of the other stamps in the same set.
I also finished with a few Yellow sequins and I stamped a greeting in Mint Macaron into the centre of the Aperture.
Thanks for stopping by and please stop by the Daring Cardmakers Blog for more inspiration from the Design team.
Have a lovely weekend.
I did mean to grovel a bit as I made my way around the Team's blogs, but everyone's cards are so amazing and cleverly thought out this week that I'm not sure I need to apologise!
ReplyDeleteThe design and balance of your card is beautiful and just perfect - I love the little corner aperture with the sentiment and the flowers around it.
I love a good challenge. Thanks for hosting this one. xxx
